CSA - Community Supported Agriculture

A CSA is an agreement between a local farm and the CSA members to gain access to produce and other items that are sustainably grown and seasonally harvested.

How it works:

  • The FMT Urban Farm CSA runs for 20 weeks from June 2 to October 12 for the 2023 season. Your veggie deliveries are customizable.  For example,  If you don't like beets, you can choose another in season vegetable instead, or choose two quantities of a single item.

  • Included in your CSA are two free herb selections of your choice.

  • If you live in Gahanna or lower New Albany below Dublin Granville Road, your CSA can be delivered weekly. Blacklick, we are working on a centralized pick up location for you, so express interest and stay tuned.

  •  If you are outside that delivery area, we are happy to work with you on a pick up date and time.

  • Next, you register and pick your plan below. The medium box will contain about 8 items. The large about 12-16 items.

  • If you choose to pay in full, we will include free perks like small bouquets of flowers and some of our berries when they are in season.

  • Once we close the CSA sign up on May 2nd, we will send everyone a veggie preference list so you can tell us your likes, loves and no thank you's. This will help us plan.

  • During the season, you will receive a weekly newsletter and choose your CSA selection for that week.

  • We will be in further communication with everyone about pick up times and delivery specifics. The beauty of being your neighborhood farmer is that we can work with you and try to find an arrangement that works best for both us.

  • If you are out of town, we can donate your CSA to Motherful, a grassroots non-profit in Gahanna supporting single moms.

  • Then you just sit back, enjoy gorgeous vegetables, weekly recipes, and have the best summer ever.

The farm is in the process of becoming USDA Certified Organic or Certified Naturally Grown. We use all organic practices and regenerative, no-till farming. Learn more about those things on our blog.
